This is our first featured car from Arizona and we first saw it at the Pharcyde show in Tempe a few weeks ago. Very clean, and upgraded with a turbo and NOS, we decided it was worthy of a closer look.
| Have you ever raced the car on the track or ¼ mile? | | 
Yes, the car has seen 50 or more trips down the drag strip...but all were before the turbo kit was installed. Best it ran before the turbo was 14.2@99mph.
| What do you estimate is your HP output? | |
It put down 255whp at 5.5psi and is good for 280whp with the boost turned up.
| What is your favorite single feature or part of the car? | |
Well the one thing I like most that sets the car apart from just about every other spec v on the road, is the custom turbo kit!
| What other cars do you own now, and have you ever significantly modified any of your current or previous vehicles? | |
My current daily driver is a 2004 WRX wagon that has Tein coilovers, Injen up/dp, HKS exhaust, Volk TE-37's and a few other goodies! It's my next project. I also recently got rid of 2003 Spec V that had a few mods...before that I drove a 94 SE-R with a few bolt-ons and suspension mods.
| Would you do it all over again? | |
Absolutely! I've had many ups and downs getting this car to where it is, but in the end it's all worth it. I like showing people what this car is capable of.
| What is the next car you would like to purchase/own? | |
I would like to pick up a G35 coupe next year maybe, and supercharge it of course. And I'm thinking of building a nice AE86 soon.
| hat's the funniest thing someone has ever asked you about your car? | |
Well two things that I can think of; "Is that a skyline"!? and "How much power does the turbo put out from the factory"
Well, there are three options I'm contemplating for the car at this point. It will either get a complete makeover for the show season next year, strip it down and turn it into a 1/4 mile car, or be sold....
