It was another hot and sunny weekend in Los Angeles where people were out and about. A perfect day to barbeque as well as holding an outdoor car show. 2006 marked the 66th Annual Nisei Week Japanese Festival in Los Angeles' Little Tokyo District, and included with the festival was the Nisei Week SHOWOFF Car Show (www.showoffcafe.com).
This was a great opportunity for the modified car enthusiast to experience and enjoy the Japanese culture by their music performances, street vendors, and outstanding food and desserts! In turn, those that were attending the Nisei Festival were able to experience another part of the Japanese culture with the many JDM style vehicles on display at the car show. Although JDM street cars dominated the event, many of the other top import show cars were also present to compete for the car show awards.
