Styling in the O.C.
Work hard, but play even harder. Living the VIP lifestyle is one that only a handful are able to enjoy, but at the LUX5 VIP show which was held in Anaheim, California, the general public was given a glimpse to see their favorite exotic cars, bikes, boats, and recreational vehicles up close and personal.
This year's partnership with VIP Auto Fashion featured a new venue. This time it was held at the Grove of Anaheim. The venue offered a different twist compared to last year's event at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Grove featured a red carpet entrance framed by a Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Diablo, a pristine white Rolls Royce, and a Spyker C8 Spyder. As you walked through the lobby, you were greeted by some of the event's sponsors, which included 944 Magazine, Hotel Menage, Sunset Tan, Luxury Financial, and DeZetta Motorsports. Off to the side of the main lobby resided the VIP lounge for those special guests that wanted to relax with their favorite cocktail in hand.
The seats that normally occupy the interior of the Grove were removed and the room was divided into four distinct spaces. The first area, grouped the many models that had come to the show to meet their fans. The second area, toward the stage, showcased highly modified bikes and presented a great backdrop for many of the model shots in front of and on the bikes. The next area housed tables and chairs and created a lounge area with great angles toward the stage that highlighted the many fashion and bikini shows during the event.
The parking lot adjacent to the venue was where the bulk of the exotic cars were displayed. The high-end vehicles included makes such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Maserati, Porsche, BMW, Mercedes Benz, and Lexus. Luxury boats by Newport Boats were also displayed around the perimeter of the lot. The Sea Ray yacht that they displayed there was very impressive. Nothing can quite compare to being able to pilot a luxury ship that allows you to catch a few rays, fish off its back deck, barbecue steaks on its grill, as well as provide for well-appointed below deck living quarters. Now that's living the LUX life.
