LUX5 is an event that focuses on luxury. Whether it's a $1,900,000 Bugatti Veyron (yes, that many zeros), a $2.1 million Liberty Coach tour bus or just your "average" Lamborghini, there is something here for the discriminating adult to see and, in some cases, buy.
This was the second LUX5 event for 2008 and it was at the famous Navy Pier in Chicago, IL. The night before, the pre-party was held at NV Penthouse Lounge (www.nvpenthouselounge.com) which attracted quite a crowd and a handful of local celebs.
At the show there were lounges with free samples of Ciroc, Johnny Walker Gold Label, Blue Label and Jose Quervo Platino, all are high-end alcoholic beverages that are targeted at the VIP client. There were also several fashion shows throughout the event that gave all who attended a look at some of the latest fashions from various designers.
      
Unfortunately, the Navy Pier wouldn't allow the yachts and airplanes into the expo hall, so they were missing from this particular installment of LUX5. Booo to the Navy Pier.....
The next event will be in San Jose on July 26th. At LUX5 there is something for everyone to see, whether you have millions/billions of dollars or if you are looking forward to joining that demographic in the future.
