One of the year's most anticipated shows took place in California on August 25, 2007 in the L.A. Convention Center. Hot Import Nights did it again. Hundreds of cars, thousands of attendees, scores of models and a handful of superstars like Eve and Miri Ben-Ari, the hip-hop violinist, all under one roof for one night.
The huge lines to get in are well worth the wait to go into this show year after year. 2007 was incredible, displaying some of the hottest cars and SUV's from the top manufacturers. GM, Dodge, Scion, Cooper Tires, Pioneer, Boost Mobile, Mazda, and more made sure all attendees got their entry-ticket price's worth by handing out free stuff, showcasing their products and their incredible demo vehicles.
Then there were the fashion shows in the NOS Energy Drink Model Central. The runway was set. The audience had gathered. The pulse of the event announced that something special was about to take place. At first glance, the audience probably thought they were at a Victoria Secret fashion show as winged import angels came strutting down the elevated runway. However, these were no typical angels. These gals represented the hottest faces in the import scene. Donned with go-go boots and ready to rock, these models danced, posed and entertained the HIN crowd below.
Not to be outdone, Tera Patrick's Mistress Couture Lingerie Show followed after our lovely angels exited the stage. Leyla (Deal or No Deal's #13-suitcase model) emceed the pageantry of import models wearing Tera's lingerie line. To say that the crowd liked what they saw would be an understatement, especially when Tera and all of her models came out on stage at the end of the show and handed out Mistress Couture items.
From B-boy battles to Eve in concert, there was plenty to do at the show, not to mention getting photos next to your favorite models and of course checking out some of the hottest rides in the nation.
