The Falken Tire Showoff Car Show & Drift held its first Northern California drift event at Golden Gate Fields in Berkeley. The site of a horse track right on beautiful San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Fields parking lot is also the location of SCCA Solo2 autocross events and a popular spot for automotive test drive events put on by auto manufacturers like Mercedes Benz and GM.
Some members of Team Falken present included NorCal native Calvin Wan in his Falken Infiniti G35, Hubert Young in his Discount Tire / Falken Nissan 240SX, Vaughn Gittin, Jr. in his Falken Ford Mustang, and Tony Angelo in his Falken Mazda RX7.
