One of the largest shows for the San Diego area is Extreme Auto Fest. This year, EAF was no disappointment. All the ingredients for a successful show were present: Great looking cars, great looking women, live performances, motorcycle stunts, lowrider hop competition, and more.
The day began with gloomy weather that was menacing to the crowd and participants. Still remembering the rain during San Diego's Night Shift earlier this year, I came prepared to fight off whatever Mother Nature threw at us. As the day progressed, the infamous San Diego weather prevailed and people used their umbrellas to seek shade rather than shelter from any rain.
The performances were entertaining, and the raffle featured prizes that some could not believe. A set of wheels, component speakers, sub boxes, as well as other products found new owners that day. The cars were great. The sponsor and vendor booths were entertaining to say the least and the general feeling in the venue was that of true enjoyment for the car show scene.
Pomona is the next stop for EAF, October 22nd. We'll see you there.
