This year's DUB show in Chicago didn't seem quite as big as last year. This was probably because of the Fourth of July weekend and some people were on vacation or had other plans. There were still plenty of cars, celebrities and several models signing autographs, including: Paul Wall, Eri Moriyama from Pepsi, Courtney Day from Alpine, and Elizabeth Ashley from Falken Tires. Miss Latin America 2006, Nikki Zeno, was also there promoting for Energizer. Vida Guerra also attended the show. Unfortunately due to tight security I was unable to get good shots of her. Some of the other vendors included: Best Buy, Car Domain and Budweiser to name a few. (Eri Moriyama, Courtney Day and Nikki Zeno are 3 of the models featured in the Car and Model 2006 calendar. DUB shows are known for the celebrity rides, mostly domestics, but there were some spectacular examples of Japanese imports including a very nice Honda S2000. Many cars and SUV's were loaded with TVs, DVDs and highly customized interiors. There was at least one car, which you'll see in the gallery, that also shows off an incredible paint job. It was quite amazing.
There are still 8 events left in DUB's 2006 tour, including Boston this weekend. Stay tuned for more DUB coverage on Car and Model.
