This was HIN's fourth consecutive year in the DC area and thousands of people made their way into the 2 buildings for a night of cars, models, music and dancing. As usual it was pretty crowded in both buildings which had activities running simultaneously.
The HINcity.com Stage featured Go-Go dancers, performances by regional acts and the Search for Miss HIN 2009 contest. The Boost Mobile Urban Stage featured B-boy and MC Battles as well as some local acts.
Models in the NOS Energy Drinks Model Lounge and throughout the venue included: Ursula Mayes (Miss HIN 2005 and #5 on "Deal or No Deal"), KT-So, Jenny Chu, Tianna Ta, Melissa Paradise, Jae Angel and Jessica Barton. Naturally, there were plenty of other models running around, after all, this is Hot Import Nights, not Sesame Street!
Besides the car competition, that had several hundred cars, there was also a Halo 3 "shootout" during the show, which was won by Larry Thorpe, "Sickness", who took home a check and a trophy for his victory.
For the first time Nightshift, a HIN production, will make a DC regional stop in Landover, MD. on Saturday, June 14, 2008. If you missed the Chantilly show, and/or want to check out the outdoor version with a few twists, make sure you mark it on your calendar.
