It's been a few years since HIN left its first footprint in the great state of Ohio. For the first time ever, it was held in Columbus, OH at the Greater Columbus Convention Center. With Columbus being a central axis to many large cities, the show was well represented from surrounding states, and even Canada! Model Central, presented by NOS Energy Drinks, was packed full of beautiful models such as Jessica Barton, Erin McKinnon, KT-So, Chelsie Lynn, Jenny Chu, Shawna Craig, and Melissa Paradise. It was a treat to see them in person, as well as the Tundra V8 powered Lexus SC on the NOS stage.
The Boost Mobile main stage highlight of the night was the MC Challenge. While it's great to see people step up to the plate, even if they've never done it before, there's nothing better than hearing seasoned MCs battle it out amongst each other. The National Guard booth was packed all night, challenging fans of HIN to challenge himself, herself or even a friend, to an arm wrestling match, push-up, high-jump or pull-up contest. Performance Auto & Sound magazine was also there continuing their 2008 model search, allowing all of the females to pose in a studio setting at the show.
For those of you that always leave the event after you're done collecting goodie bags and posters from the vendors, stay a little later next time. The NOS Energy Drink booths hand out leftover cases of their drinks to energy deprived fans around 11pm.
The next HIN/Nightshift show will be Nightshift D.C. at FedEx Field in Hyattsville, MD on June 14th, check it out!
