This was the 6th event in the Asian Model Palooza series and first one in Pasadena. It was at the Pink Diamonds Gentleman's Club which was formerly called "Pleasures". Not sure why the old sign was still out front, but I'm sure it confused several people that were told it was at Pink Diamonds. Lucky for me my navigation system was smarter than the club owner, and it pointed me to the correct place!
Francine Dee strutted her stuff on stage making a rare appearance and handing out several promotional DVD's. The stage was ran by DJ Agent A whom some of you may recognize from a handful of events we've attended over the last 4 years. The other few models who showed up included: Angie Romasanta, Leigh Nguyen, Mia X, and some local adult industry models like Jade Hsu and Kat.
This event has been pretty inconsistent since Asian ModelPalooza 1. It bounces back and forth from being wild to mild and everywhere in between. Overall it was a decent turnout, but I think the strip club venue is scaring away many of the mainstream models. If they had even half the models who were on the event list show up, it would be a much better event.
