If you haven't checked out a DUB show before, you are missing out. There is pretty much a little of everything to entertain you at one of their shows. At first glance, it looks like a car show with a huge stage at one end of the venue. But quickly, you will realize that the cars there are not your plain Jane, vanilla looking rides. What you do get to see are custom cars from some of the hottest car crews in town, and L.A. came to represent at this show.
Three of the largest crews at the show were Nokturnal, Swift and Ballerz Empire. Their cars came equipped with huge rims, phenomenal paint jobs and an attention to detail that makes you really appreciate the love they put into their rides.
In addition to the cars, you cannot forget the entertainers on stage. DUB had some of the biggest names in the industy such as Akon, David Banner, Rick Ross, Willy Northpole, 2Pistols, Holly Rae, Webbie, and Wiz Khalifa. With a line up like that, there was little doubt as to why the crowds around their main stage were big.
And lastly, if you like models, DUB doesn't disappoint. There were promotional models for both the vendors as well as the car crews. And when you see a huge crowd forming and flashes going off like no tomorrow, you know that someone is posing for the cameras. But for me, the most popular model at the show was Vida Guerra. The line of people waiting to get her autograph was huge.
The next stop in the DUB tour is in Houston on August 23rd, so if you are in town, be sure to check it out. Entertainers scheduled to perform live in Houston include Ludacris, Shawty Lo, Willy Northpole, Paul Wall, 2Pistols, TMI Boys, Fat Pimp, and Holly Rae.
