The weather could not have been more perfect in San Diego at Qualcomm Stadium. The skies were clear and the temps were nice and warm. That was ideal for the models since they were wearing next to nothing at times, especially when on stage, with just bikinis.
The show had a mix of car styles and cultures. There were the typical import cars from both JDM and DTM markets, and the LowriderFest was also featured. Clearly, there was a distinction on the modifications that each group made to their rides, but what they had in common was their passion and commitment at customizing them from mild to way out wild. One of the popular attractions at LowriderFest was the car hopping. Now that's some pretty heavy-duty mods to make your car bounce up more than 5 feet in the air.
The attractions at their main stage were the bikini contest and performances by Baby Bash and Frankie J. By the crowd participation in these events, it was pretty clear that the bikini contest was primarily for the guys, and the singers were mostly favored by their female fans. Looks like a good combination if you ask me since there was a little bit of everything for all attendees. Events that targeted both male and female attendees were the fashion show and the various dance groups.
