The New Dimensions Charity Auto show kicked off it's 11th year at a new venue: the huge Twin Creeks Sports Complex in Sunnyvale, CA. As in past years, proceeds from the show goes to support the Second Harvest Food Bank charity organization.
As one of the premiere VW and Audi shows on the West Coast, one can usually find many of the top modified VW and Audis from around the country at this show, as well as tuners showing off their products. New this year was the addtion of a Mini category to the show.
Unlike the typical warm and sunny Bay Area day in May, Mother Nature decided to have overcast skies during the show. Fortunately it only drizzled a few times during the day, and although people would run for cover, they would come back out a few minutes later since it never lasted for very long. We thank Mother Nature for dumping rain on other parts of the Bay Area and leaving just the drizzle for Sunnyvale.
